Guests should please contact us prior to arrival to give us an estimate time of arrival and to book optional breakfasts and dinners in advance. Furthermore, we kindly request that you give us a call upon arriving at the main gate to obtain the security access code from us and to give us time to walk down to meet you at the lodge entrance.
Call Danie on 082 555 4233 or Leila on 076 684 5148
Upon arriving at the main gate
As there are dogs, cattle, sheep, rabbits and other animal species on the farm, kindly adhere to the strict speed limit of 20 km/h.
Drive straight pass the thatch houses, staff quarters and old horse stables (now dog kennels). Passing the stables on your left, the road will become a dirt road. Just carry on slowly, keep right around the “circle”. Follow the road and pass through the green, pitch roof entrance. Please park at the shade nets on your left where you will be welcomed personally.
Red arrows indicate the above directions.

Rooms & Meals
All rooms have a mini fridge and kettle in room (morning coffee, tea, creamer and sugar are provided). Linen and towels are also provided.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT A FULL SELF-CATERING ESTABLISHMENT. Rooms are NOT equipped for cooking or preparing meals. Only guests that book the whole lodge for a groups’ exclusive use may use the lodge kitchen, as we need the kitchen to cater for sit-down guests ordering meals from us.
Dinners, lunches and breakfasts can be pre-arranged with our caterer before arrival. However, you are welcome to bring along pre-prepared food. There is also a communal braai area which you are welcome to use (bring your own cutlery, crockery, cooler box with ice and wood/charcoal). Guests are also advised to bring along their own drinks as we do not have a running bar.
Activities
We offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern city life and therefore our main activity is RELAXING!
No televisions or Wi-Fi (so bring your laptop and flash drive). Important sporting events can usually be viewed at Kearney’s Pizza Bars’ Big Screen which is 22 km from the lodge and a mere 15 minute drive.
Outdoor swimming pool (not heated). We kindly bring it under your attention that our pool is painted with a dark colour and therefore cannot appear sparkling blue although the water is very clean. Please bring your own towels for use at the pool.
Pool table and dart board in the bar area, where guests can relax and supply their own drinks of choice.
Although we cannot offer you game drives, spa treatments, etc. on the premises, there are pretty amazing activities and places to visit in the surrounding area. Click on IN THE AREA where some activities in the area are listed.

General guest rules
We have a "guest consideration" policy. For this reason we do not allow guests to play music in the communal areas outside of the rooms or at the pool/bar area. If you play music in your unit, remember that other guests don’t particularly want to listen to your music and are visiting the lodge to experience the peace and tranquillity of the farm. Our friendly request is to consider your fellow visitors and kindly keep the volume down. However, guests booking the whole lodge for a group function are welcome to bring along their own music to play inside the bar/dining area. As the lodge is situated on a larger farm, we do consider our neighbours and request that the volume be reasonable and only very soft music after midnight.
Any damage to property, breakages or losses will be for your account and strictly payable not later than 7 days after departure.
No animals are allowed without prior consent from lodge management.
No shop on premises – closest convenient stores 16 km toward Krugersdorp, 20 km to Broederstroom and 22 km to the closest Spar (close to Pecanwood Estate).
